You have secured a position as a junior clerk at the prestigious Sowersby Greeting Card Company, thanks almost entirely to your parents' connections and certainly not to any discernible artistic talent. Now you must compete against your fellow clerks to impress the formidable Editor-in-Chief, Mr. Sowersby, and prove that your peculiar artistic sensibilities are precisely what the greeting card industry has been missing.

In Victorian Greeting Card Showdown, players compete to submit the most delightfully bizarre Victorian greeting cards in response to unusual Assignments. Each round, secretly submit your finest card, cast your Yay and Nay votes upon the questionable efforts of your colleagues, and await the Editor-in-Chief's judgment. Should matters not proceed in your favor, a well-timed Polite Intervention may help you alter the proceedings. Politely, of course.

Featuring wonderfully strange historical Victorian greeting card imagery, this hilarious party game celebrates an era when frogs danced, animals behaved suspiciously, and apparently no one saw anything particularly troubling about sending these things through the post.
